Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this research, we have studied infrastructure for open collaborative authoring of educational video materials combining pen-stroke replay and synthesized speech.
The key component for open collaborative authoring of educational material is a tool for pen stroke recording and playback. We implemented the tool as a Web application independent of the OS environment by using JavaScript.
The created teaching material can be shared immediately on the Internet by storing it in cloud storage. For speech synthesis, we developed a general-purpose implementation that receives dialogue data though HTTP and send back synthesized voice audio.
