Outline of Final Research Achievements

The infants begin to have interest one's body and establish one’s lifestyle. It is important that infants learn about health. However, there are few studies that investigated the actual situation of infant life. Therefore, I studied actual situation of the 5 years old children life for their class teachers and parents of the 172 public kindergartens in Tokyo.
We were suggested that the three contents concerning “Healthy body,” “Safety” and “Healthy mind, kindness” and the two viewpoints of “Ability for communal living” and “Ability to live for as an individual” should be included to make health education curriculums for 5 years old children. In addition, it is necessary to take in the contents concerning functions and growth of human body such as “sitting down with right posture” and “standing for long time” in the content of “Heathy body."
