Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Developmentally disabled tendency among university students associated with mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety. We revealed that the coziness of the university and presence of friends acted protectively. We also found that a general employment support program improved mental health and subjective QOL. Based on these findings, we developed a smartphone cognitive-behavioral therapy application that improves stress coping and communication skills. We have started a large-scale full factorial design randomized study to clarify factors necessary to optimize the program for individual characteristics.
