| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The Public Interest Corporation System Reforms (2008) had great impacts on Japanese non-profit corporation system, but also on non-profit organization system itself. We analyzed political activity of non-profit organizations after Public Interest Corporation System Reform.
We found that some of public corporations actively preform political activities but those legal and political legitimacy were dubious. Political activity regulations depend on legal status of each corporation, and those regulations have not consistent logical reasons. Comparatively regulation systems of non-profit political activity have varieties of types. However this issues have long and deep dialogues. Future Japanese reforms on non-profit political activity regulation system could learn from those dialogues especially in Anglo-American countries.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
公益法人の政治活動の実態と規制規範についての研究である。本研究により、第一に、公益法人制度改革後にも公益法人は選挙活動を含めて政治活動を行っていることが明らかになった。その法的正当性は、議論されていない。第二に、非営利公益法人の政治活動規制は、各法人格において大きな相違があることが明らかになった。第三に、諸外国での制度比較によって、日本の特徴と改革の方向性に示唆を得た。第四に、公益認定制度の実態とその問題点の把握がなされた。
これらの知見は、日本の市民社会セクターの政治活動の実態的規範的分析において基礎となる。今後、規制について社会的議論は活発するであろうが、その際重要な貢献をなすであろう。
