Outline of Final Research Achievements |
After the global financial crisis and natural disasters in Japan, serious efforts have been exerted to revitalize the Japanese economy. This research focused on employment and technology in small and medium enterprises and the revitalization of the Japanese economy. We examined the relationship between intangible activities such as research and development and education and training and employment growth of firms. We explored the status quo of business start-ups and closures by region. In the context of innovation infrastructure, we reviewed policies to promote entrepreneurship in Japan. We investigated the potential entrepreneurial activities by region.
