Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research was aimed at considering the influence of globalization of the supply chains on the way of collaboration between companies that construct the supply chains. Specifically, we compared the automobile industry and the electronics industry in Japan and other countries. The supply chains in both industries are approximated. Furthermore, inter-firm collaboration in the supply chains has been revealed that buyers in the supply chains develop multiple purchasing and sellers promote multiple supplying. such a collaboration can not be grasped by simple dichotomy between open and closed.
