Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
We aim to provide users with online visualization of 3D dynamic events at any place in the world. The framework relies on MS Azure Websites for data display and capture (and storage). The system design was validated with collaborators from YunGoal Inc. in Shanghai. Different map technologies were tested: Bing map, OpenStreetMap, etc. Information located at different locations are obtained by pooling CSV files. Point clouds are captured using MS Kinect V2. At this step, we assume geolocalisation of observed scenes roughly known, and are investigating real-time data fetching and display.
