Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Research results are mainly two. First research result is Anglo-Japanese relations history during Korea annexation. Although there are many previous studies about Anglo-Japanese alliance, few studies have examined Anglo-Japanese foreign policy toward Korea. This study revealed conflict and cooperation about Anglo-Japanese foreign policy toward Korea during Korea annexation. Second research result is foreign recognition by the Japanese media during Korea annexation. This study revealed foreign recognition by the Japanese media toward France, Russian allies, Korea, it was being dominated by Japan, China during Boxer disturbance.
