Outline of Final Research Achievements |
As a initial step toward developing a program which aims to buffer both psychological and physiological stress responses, this study examined associations between meridian states and psychological and physiological stress responses. We found that waist meridian states are more strongly related to physiological stress responses while neck meridian states are to psychological stress responses. Different approaches are needed to buffer psychological and physiological stress responses, respectively.
