Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I revealed the details of the process by which students collaboratively deepen their reading on stories in Japanese language classes. I conducted a classroom discourse analysis based on continuous field work. The results revealed that in the discourse process, students presented different perspectives on the existence and phenomena of the fictitious world and associated them in response to each other's utterances. Different ways of making meanings about the existence and phenomenon of the fictional world, depending on the difference in attributes and experiences of readers. It is important to foster a culture that respects other people 's ideas while listening to each other and to guarantee that opportunity in class.
