Outline of Research at the Start

発達障害などの精神障害により感覚過敏をもつ子どもは、喧騒や人の多さといった環境要因によってパニックに陥ることがある。空間的な介入はその沈静に有効と考えられる一方、個人差が大きく支援方法も十分に体系化されていないため、学校現場での環境整備は容易ではない。本研究では、主に発達障害などをもつ高校生以下の子どもに焦点を当て、学校で継続的に活用できる環境調整の指針を整理し、教職員向けのカームダウンスペースやパニック対応に関する教育プログラムの確立を目指す。そのために、「学校での過ごしやすさ」を高める環境調整方法を検証し、その結果を踏まえて対応マニュアルを整備する。
