本研究は、サハリン（旧樺太）における朝鮮人の移住と生活の歴史を、現地調査と資料収集を通じて明らかにするものである。現地に残る建物跡などの遺構を記録し、日本人を含む多様な人々の存在を視覚的に示すことで、過去と現在のつながりを社会にわかりやすく提示することを目指す。
