Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
H28年度は,4段ネストJCOPE2-ROMS海洋モデル,多粒径3次元土砂輸送モデル,波浪推算モデルSWAN,河道モデルiRIC-Nays2DH,放射性核種吸着モデルを連成させた超高解像度広域土砂・懸濁態137Cs海洋分散モデル(新田川モデル)を用いて,台風201326号出水イベントに伴う河川起源土砂の河口・沿岸域における堆積・浸食状況の時空間特性を評価した.この出水イベントは,本研究領域A02海洋・海洋生物班,A03河川班が詳細な現地調査を実施した時期に対応しており,観測データと数値モデルの比較を試みた.なお,数値モデル解析領域は新田川河口を中心とした20km四方の領域であり,これを水平解像度20m,鉛直層数32層で表現した再解析を行った.河口域における流動および懸濁質輸送特性に関する評価に加え,懸濁態137Csインベントリ解析を併せて行い,水深5 mまでの河口域,水深10 mまでの河口外縁域での堆積,沿岸漂砂等による河川起源137Csの海域堆積層への移行特性を定量化した.モデルによる結果は現地観測と整合的であることが確認された.なお当初計画では,溶存相・懸濁相・堆積相間の放射性核種相間移行モデル(Dynamic adsorption-desorption: DADモデル)の開発と評価を昨年度から継続して行う予定であったが,本研究領域の方針により,新田川河口域を対象とした河川-海洋移行解析に注力することとなった.そのため,計画を一部変更し,新田川モデルの開発と運用を優先的に実施した.また,国際共同研究加速基金の枠組み(15KK0207)で長期滞在中の米国UCLAにおいて,同校のMcWilliams教授,Shchepetkin研究員らと本シミュレーションモデルの核であるROMSの移流拡散スキーム,ポイントソースモデルなどの改良を行った.
