Outline of Annual Research Achievements

(1)筋シナジーを考慮した駆動方式の考案
多数の筋によって駆動される筋骨格ヒューマノイドは,その姿勢を制御することができるだけでなく,全身の緊張を制御することもできる.しかし一方で,筋シナジーを発見することができなければ,この二つをどのように制御すればよいかの指針を得ることができない.本研究では,同一次元オートエンコーダに,ヒューマノイドの手先位置に関する情報を付加することによって,このような筋シナジーをネットワーク上にコピーし,のちの制御に再利用できるような学習法を提案し,実験によってその有効性を検証した.人間も複雑な筋骨格構造を持っており,これをどのように制御しているかは,古くからサイバネティクスの問題として提示されており,この問題に対する構成論的な答えになりうる.
(2)筋骨格ロボットを用いた身体像の構築に関する構成論的実験
試作された筋骨格ヒューマノイドを用いて,カメラでとらえた手先位置と,筋の駆動パターンの間にどのような関係が存在するかを,モータバブリングと呼ばれる学習法で学習し,学習後は,手先を望みの位置に移動させるための筋駆動パターンが生成される枠組みを提案した.提案法は,試作した筋骨格ヒューマノイドロボットに実装され,24時間を超える長期の学習を経て,手先の位置と筋駆動パターンの間に一定の関係が学習できること,さらにはその学習結果を用いて,手先を望みの位置に移動することができることを実験的に示した.
