ジャミング・ガラス転移の統一理論の研究

Research Abstract

本年度は、昨年度に完成した仕事のうち粉体系等の局所平衡も時間反転対称性が成り立たない系のゆらぎの定理に関する論文、量子系の一般化久保公式に関する論文、せん断粉体系での粘性率の発散に関する論文、非平衡定常状態でのキュムラント公式に関する論文が出版された他、今年度に入ってから投稿した負の反発係数に関する論文が出版された。また摩擦のある粒子のジャミングに関する論文の出版が決まった段階で、他に投稿中の論文が3つある。尚、残念乍、ガラス転移について進めた研究については細部を詰め切れず論文にするに至らなかった。
摩擦のある系のジャミング転移に関する論文は、転移が摩擦係数によって連続転移から不連続転移に変化し、履歴依存性が現れることを明らかにした。その一方、外挿で決めた(仮の)臨界点周りのスケーリングは摩擦がない時と変わらず平均場近似で決めた臨界指数が依然有効であることを確認した。また、摩擦のない系のジャミング転移と粘性率の発散に関して詳細に調べ、従来知られていたスケーリングから研究代表者等が提唱したスケーリングへのクロスオーバーがあることを発見した。またジャミング転移が生じる粉体せん断系の非平衡キュムラント法による定常分布の表現を発展させ、同時に粉体系でのゆらぎの定理や一般化久保公式の成立を示した論文を著した。
その他関連する研究として粉体素子の衝突で見かけ上負の反発係数が出ることを発見し、そのメカニズムを明らかにした論文や、一般化久保公式を量子系に適用した論文等が成果となっている。
