Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、メタゲノムデータから正確な生物相を推定し、検出された生物種に対して、網羅的に古代DNAの評価を行うことで、真に古代由来の生物を特定し、その遺伝情報を網羅的に取得するための技術開発を行う。この技術を確立することで、遺跡から出土した試料から様々な考古生物の遺伝情報だけでなく、当時の周辺環境や衛生状態等を反映した複合的な古生物相の復元にも応用利用が期待できる。
