Outline of Research at the Start	強力な生物活性を示す大環状マクロラクトン天然物を基盤として、骨格中の原子変換や立体異性体の改変を組み合わせることで多様な構造を持つ化合物群を効率的に獲得する。それらの持つ潜在的価値を多様な生物学的試験によって見出し、医農薬品のリード化合物を創出するとともに、生体機能を制御できる独自の分子群を開拓する。合成した化合物群の構造情報と生物活性情報をもとに化合物潜在空間の構築に役立てるとともに、潜在空間から導出される化合物を合成・評価することで新たな生体機能制御分子を獲得する。
