質感知覚の成立過程―言語獲得前後の乳幼児を対象にした発達的検討

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

質感知覚の初期過程を解明する研究を行い、光沢感や金色カテゴリの獲得が乳児期にあること、乳児における影を知覚する能力を解明した。また、光沢感の形成メカニズムを明らかにする研究や、乳児におけるカテゴリカル色知覚の脳内処理、質感にかかわるクロスモダリティの研究について現在も研究を推進している。さらに、複数の企業への玩具作製の技術指導および共同研究も行っている。２０１４年夏には、東京都現代美術館で開催された「ワンダフルワールド展」での作品協力なども行い、多方面への知識の普及に貢献できたと考える。
