Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度に行った研究は主に次の2つである。
(1)可逆な分子接合制御を機能性分子に対して応用することを目的として,まずポルフィリンアレー分子をAu(111)表面に蒸着してSTM観測を行った。分子はA01班の小川研究室から提供を受けて領域内の共同研究を進めた。一般に機能性分子は質量数が高く不揮発性なため,エレクトロスプレー法を導入して蒸着を行った。溶媒分子が基板に残らないようにするなど蒸着条件を精査することで,表面上で単分子の単離,観察に成功し,さらにアレーに沿って電子状態を測定した。その結果,伝導度に大きく寄与するHOMOやLUMOの空間分布を明らかにした(RSC Advance 5, 79152, 2015) 。
(2)クロロ基をアンカーとして用いる可能性を探るため,クロロフェノールをCu(110)に吸着し,その吸着状態をSTM. EELSを用いて評価したのち,STMによる非破壊接合の形成を行った。STM探針はベンゼン環とクロロ基に対してそれぞれ独立に接合することが明らかとなり,新しい分子接合の制御を達成した(投稿準備中)。
