Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は、向社会行動（利他行動）の生後発達の神経機構を、脳内機能分子および神経ネットワーク機能から明らかにすることである。向社会行動を発現することが知られている非ヒト霊長類であるコモンマーモセットを用いて、以下の項目で実験を実施した。
Ⅰ．向社会行動の定量的評価：利他行動を評価するため、検査者の立ち合いの必要がない自動化されたオペラント行動課題装置の開発を行った。課題ボックスへの移動および馴化を効率化するための改良を重ね、2つの課題ボックスとその間の仕切り版を電磁式可視不可視とする、タッチパネル式TWINケージを導入した。また、自律神経系指標として心血管系動態をモニターするため、小型無線発信機の生体内への装着およびテレメトリー装置によるオンライン測定を行った。
Ⅱ．遺伝子解析：DNAサンプル試料として体毛および頬粘膜を採取し、オピオイド受容体、バソプレシン受容体、ドーパミン受容体の遺伝子多型データを蓄積した。
Ⅱ．脳機能イメージング：養育環境の異なる個体群を用いてセロトニントランスポーター、ドーパミンD2受容体、セロトニン1A受容体特異的PETトレーサーによるPET画像データを蓄積した。マーモセット用MRIコイルの評価、高解像度MRI解剖および機能画像取得に係る動物の麻酔環境、撮像および解析パラメータの最適化を進めた。
