Outline of Annual Research Achievements

意思決定とは、複数の選択肢から、ベストを選択する高次脳機能である。我々は、意思決定の際に、最適な選択をすべく、文脈や状況に応じて、基準を調節している。しかし脳の中で、どのようなメカニズムで、その基準が設定され、利用されているかは、よくわかっていなかった。
そこで、本研究では、申請者がとりくんできた、意思決定の迷いを検出するための行動課題を改良し、迷い（確信度）の上流・下流に位置する基準を、別個に操作する実験パラダイムを開発した。その結果、意思決定の内部変数のゆらぎから、各試行間の確信度のばらつきを、さらに、確信度の時系列構造から、各試行間の意思決定の基準の変化を予測することができた。
