Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本申請課題は、本領域研究の成果を公開し広く発信するとともに、本領域研究で培ってきた異分野連携・融合を基軸とした学術の推進および学理の啓発を目的とした。本領域の研究成果に関して、領域ホームページやニュースレターでの発信、アウトリーチ活動、マスメディアへの掲載等を通じて社会に広く公開するとともに、主に以下の活動を通じて、異分野融合の推進と本領域研究の啓発に努めた。
1.国際シンポジウムの開催: Frontier Bioorganization Forum 2018を主催し、本領域の研究成果に基づく学理の啓発を行うとともに、日本・韓国・台湾の先端的研究者との交流を通じて、近年その重要性が謳われている国際共同研究の実施に対してインセンティブを与えた。本領域を基軸とした異分野間の有機的な研究ネットワークを構築し、更なる国際共同研究の発展に努めた。
2.出版物の刊行: 本領域の研究成果の集大成として総説を刊行し、国内外の研究者・研究領域に対して成果を発信した。昨年度までに、本領域研究を通じて進展した計測手法に関してはBiochimica et Biophysica Acta の特集号として既に刊行してきた。したがって、今年度は、理論・計算系アプローチの成果をまとめて、Journal of Computer Chemistry, Japanの特集号を刊行した。国内外の研究者に対して、領域活動と研究成果に関する情報発信を行うことができた。
