研究概要

Chk1は、DNA保全チェックポイントの中核をなすタンパク質リン酸化酵素(キナーゼ)である。Chk1は、その調節領域のリン酸化修飾によって、その機能が制御されていることが知られているが、ATR からのリン酸化修飾による機能変化以外はあまり解析されてこなかった。本研究にて、我々は、Chk1の新規リン酸化修飾の生理機能を解明するとともに、細胞が増殖休止状態(G0期)から増殖周期(G1期)に移行する際のChk1の細胞機能の一端を明らかにした。
