研究概要

線虫の行うランダム・ウォークのデータ解析を行い、その特徴を明らかにした。生物の信号伝達ネットワークに現れるような有向グラフについて、そのラプラシアン行列を用いて、ノード(ニューロンなどに対応)の重要性指標を提案した。ネットワーク内の振動の精確性を、結合振動子系と呼ばれる数理モデルを用いて明らかにした。最大エントロピー法と呼ばれる統計モデルを用いて、脳ネットワークの推定を行い、従来法よりも解剖的なネットワークを精度良く推定できることを示した。ネットワーク上で動的にイベントが起こっているテンポラル・ネットワークを一般的に解析した。
