研究概要

自己と他者の相互作用が、行動にどのように影響を持っているかを、特に相手の動作を介した情報獲得メカニズムに焦点を絞って研究を実施した。マカクザル扁桃核中心核ニューロンは対象をカテゴリカルに処理していること、扁桃核は情動情報を前頭前野はコミュニケーション情報を扱っていることが分かった。定型発達の幼児は人の顔や手に視線を集中させる一方、広汎性発達障害児は胴体や足なども含め偏りなく見ていることが分かった。ヒトはリズム情報を前頭—頭頂—小脳のネットワークで再現していることが分かった。これらは運動に関連した領域であり、リズムは運動系列として扱われている可能性が示唆された。
