研究成果の概要

ベーチェット病を対象としたゲノム解析により、HLAクラスI分子に提示前のペプチドのトリミングに関与するERAP1（endoplasmic reticulum aminopeptidase 1）が、ベーチェット病の発症リスクに対して、ベーチェット病の強力な遺伝要因であるHLA-B*51と遺伝子間相互作用を示すことを見出した。
サルコイドーシスを対象としたゲノム解析では、日本人のサルコイドーシス患者と相関を示すHLA-DRB1アリルおよびHLA-DQB1アリルを明らかにしたとともに、HLA-DRB1およびHLA-DQB1の近傍に位置するBTNL2遺伝子と疾患の相関性も明らかにした。
