研究成果の概要

生体膜の構造と機能を解明することは、生命現象の理解にとって不可欠な要素の一つである。本計画研究では理論とシミュレーションを駆使して、多成分生体膜の相分離現象やゆらぎを媒介とした非平衡ダイナミクスの基礎的原理を明らかにした。具体的には、流体力学的相互作用が働く多成分生体膜系のダイナミクス、非平衡条件下のベシクルの形態転移のダイナミクス、アクティブな生体膜におけるブラウン運動や異常拡散の問題を解明した。それ以外にも、粘弾性体中のアクティブな力双極子による異常拡散や、粘弾性体中のマイクロマシンの遊泳についても新しい研究成果を得た。
