研究概要

本重点領域研究「キラル分子の不斉合成」は,酵素を越える一般性の高い光学活性キラル分子生成反応の化学的創成を目的とするもので、わが国が世界をリ-ドしている研究領域の一つである。本研究は炭素-炭素結合反応を中心に不斉発現原理の有機化学的追及、高効率不斉触媒の開発、有用キラル分子の合成ための4つの主要研究項目、即ち、第1班;不斉空間の構築、第2班;典型金属系触媒的不斉合成、第3班;遷移金属系触媒的不斉合成、第4班;キラル分子の不斉合成に分かれ、相互に連携を取りつつ、平成5〜7年の3年間行われた。本報告書はその管の成果を班員62名全員が各々和文3ページ、英文1ページに要約し、全体をまとめたものである。3年の研究期間に、反応の不斉化、触媒化、精密合成の研究が精力的に行われ、有機化学の根幹をなす反応、ジ-ルスアルダー反応、エン反応、アルドール反応、ニトロアルドール反応、マイケル反応、アルキル化反応、プロトン反応、ヒドロシリル化反応などの不斉化、触媒化が次々と達成され、さらに各種天然物の立体選択的合成など多数の成果を上げることができた。この報告書は研究班員の今後の研究推進のために活用されるばかりでなく、「不斉合成」研究の代表的文献の一つとして、広く関連研究者に役立つものと思われる。
