研究概要

1、分子内の近傍に複数のアルヒデト基を有するテルペイノドには多様な生理活性が見出だされている。本研究者は天然より大量に入手可能な(+)-ゲニピンを出発物質に用い、新しい生物活性物質の発掘を目標に、複数のアルデヒド官能基を有する多官能性イリドイド類や海産ジテルペン類の合成を行なってきたが、今回はその研究の一環として分子内に10π系ヘテロ芳香環を含む新規な海産ジテルペン、ハリチュナ-ルの合成を行なった。ハリチュナ-ルは抗ウイルス活性が報告されているほか抗腫瘍性や抗炎症活性が期待される化合物である(磯江)。2、紅藻ウラソゾより単離された8員環エーテルの(+)-ローレンシンの最初の合成を達成した。また、その成果をもとにして(+)-ローラレンの全合成を積極的に推し進めている(村井)。3、シガテラ中毒の毒素シガトキシンの抗体調整への合成的プロ-チとしてのヘプテン-プロテン コンジュゲートの合成に成功した(平間)。4、魚類の発する対捕食防御物質の活性発現機構の研究の一環としてミナミウシノシタの分泌液より魚毒成分として一連のステロイド配糖体類と疎水性ペプチドを単離した(橘)。5、ワラビの究極発癌物質の合成に成功するとともにそのDNA切断機構を解明した。また海洋動物アメフラシの抗腫瘍性物質アプリロニンAの単離、構造決定と合成に成功した。さらに、タツナミガイの細胞毒性物質ドリキュライドの構造決定ならびに合成にも成功している(山田)。6、複合型糖鎖の生物学的機能の合成化学的手法による解明には複雑な糖鎖の精密合成が必要であるが、そのためには糖鎖の選択的保護が重要である。簡便なα-選択的グリコシル化法を開発しそれを用いて複合糖質類の合成を行なった(楠本)。
