研究概要

平成7年度から平成9年度にわたり、メソスコピック領域の物理現象を実験的に数値的に調べ、その工学的応用を考えた。その研究成果は、以下のとおりである。
(1)中間領域のプラズマモデルとしてFLR(有限ラ-マ半径)-MHD(磁気流体)モデルとジャイロ流体モデルから、ランダウ減衰と粒子共鳴現象を明らかにした。また、粒子モデルから電子・イオン2流体不安定のシミュレーション、およびMHDモデルから負磁気シアトカマクプラズマの安定性解析を行った。
(2)ランダウ-リフィシューギルバ-ト方程式からマイクロ磁気の非線形効果およびヒステリシスモデルの計算機解析を行った。また、電子スピンの相互作用の研究と走査型顕微鏡への応用、3次元磁気シールド問題の新しい境界要素法による解析法を提案した。
(3)量子細線におけるバリスティック的電子波の磁場中での挙動、および量子コンピュータの基本概念について検討した。
(4)高温超電導体でのメソスコピック領域での構成関係式をシミュレーションにより実現し、宇宙および電磁機器への適用を計った。
(5)非線形光導波路のFEM・ビーム解析法の提案、光記憶用光学系の開発、光・音響相互作用の工学的応用および空間コヒーレンスによる光スペクトラル変化の実験を行った。
