都市域の水・熱収支推定のための高精度蒸発散量算定手法の開発

研究概要

本研究の主目的は都市域からの蒸発散推定手法の改良である。このために二つの手法での研究を行った。
一つ目の研究手法は、現地観測である。二本の微気象観測タワーを都市域内に設置し、詳細な蒸発散機構の観測を行った。続いて蒸発散のシミュレーションを水文モデルおよびエネルギーバランスモデルの両方で行った。シミュレーションの際に最も重要な植生パラメータは、葉面積指数、根の深さ、根の分布などであった。一つ以上の土壌および植生タイプのパラメータ設定の下で、土壌水分などの水文量の変動は精度良く再現されたが、蒸発散の推定値はバラバラとなった。しかし、解法の中で水収支およびエネルギー収支の両方を取り入れると、その土地を代表する単一のパラメータセットによって、蒸発散を含めた当該土地の水文およびエネルギー特性を妥当に再現することが可能になった。
二つ目の研究手法はリモートセンシングを用いたものであり、大領域における蒸発散量推測の向上のために土地被覆情報を正確に把握する技術の開発である。ここではSPOT、Landsat, IKONOSの画像を用いた。階層的な統計分類手法を景観の幾何学的な形状と組み合わせて用いることによって、都市域の土地利用分類の精度が向上することを示した。
