研究実績の概要 |
On the basis on the first-year study of the weather and ocean models, the wave-current interaction (WCI) study has been focused on in the second year, as a basis of next-step study on the ship routing in the actual sea. Effects of wave-current interaction on important wave parameters such as wave length, wave steepness as well as BFI are significant, which can increase the risk of ship accidents. In my future study, the present research achievement is supposed to act as a basis for the construction of an advanced weather routing in the actual seas, taking the wave-current interaction into account. Combined with the EUT as well as its application in the RIOS system has been learned, wave effects can be more accurately calculated for a better weather routing calculation.
