研究概要

DNAメチル化異常誘発の分子機構及びその誘発因子には不明な点が多い。CpGアイランド(CGI)内の散在性CpGメチル化が誘発される頻度が異なる胃がん細胞株各2系統を用い、散在性メチル化はCGI全体の高密度なメチル化につながること、高転写の遺伝子のメチル化も誘発することを示した。Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)感染によるメチル化異常誘発には遺伝子特異性が存在し、遺伝子の低転写がその特異性に重要であることを明らかにした。スナネズミモデルを用いた解析から、メチル化異常の誘発には炎症の種類が重要であることを示した。
