研究概要

乳癌および前立腺癌の増加に伴って、癌の骨転移が注目され、その対策が必要とされている。骨は、骨吸収と骨形成を盛んに行っている動的な組織である。さらに骨組織には、免疫細胞、血液細胞、脂肪細胞、神経細胞が存在しており、複雑な細胞間ネットワークを構築している。そこで本研究では、分子レベル、細胞レベル、および個体レベルで骨微小環境と癌細胞の相互関連を解析した。また骨転移に伴なう疼痛発症のメカニズムの一端を明らかにした。
