研究実績の概要 |
The achievements made in the fiscal year of 2019 are summarized as follows: (1) several hundreds of a new and high-resolution optical / near-IR spectra, (2) presentation research at domestic / international conferences, and (3) a publication on the relationship between narrow emission-line ratio and AGN Eddington ratio.
(1) We obtained ~200 new optical spectra covering up to near-IR from Palomar, ESO VLT, and SOAR observatory. These new high-resolution spectra are a part of hard X-ray selected AGN, which are what we are currently doing a follow-up optical observations to measure black hole mass, emission-line strengths, and Eddington accretion rates. As a PI and co-I of successful observing programs since 2016, we have been working on observing proposal planning, design, phase 2, data reduction, and spectral line measurements. In addition to the other ~500 optical spectra obtained so far, we are covering complete set of optical spectra of local hard X-ray selected AGN (N~840). (2) We have presented researches in the Korean Astronomical Society meeting (April, 2019) and carried research discussion at the collaboration meeting (ETH Zurich, June 2019). The presentation and discussion were about 1) the recent work about anti-correlation in AGN narrow emission-line ratio and Eddington accretion rate, and 2) a new method estimating / inferring galaxy and AGN spectral features, respectively. (3) A new research work is published in the Astrophysical Journal. We investigated how AGN growth rate is related with narrow emission-line ratios in high-redshift.
