| 研究実績の概要 |
Due to personal circumstances, I changed my position from assistant professor to a visiting researcher in summer 2018, and will leave the institute at the end of March 2019. Thus, I am no longer pursuing this project. Accordingly, my focus prior to leaving was to publish what data I have obtained thus far.
I have published a paper in the Journal of Experimental Biology (Stewart et al, 2019) which details the findings of the experiments I undertook for this project. My paper goes on to propose a model of the photoreceptors and early neural circuits involved in motion detection, building on my previous work on the role of chromatic contrast in motion vision. I intend to present my work at the International Conference on Invertebrate Vision this summer.
