研究成果の概要

本研究ではヒトを対象としてACTN3遺伝子R577X多型と伸張性収縮運動前後の筋・関節機能に関する研究を行った。具体的には、伸張性収縮運動前後の剪断波エラストグラフィーによる筋スティフネスとACTN3遺伝子R577X多型との関係を検討した(実験1)。さらに、大学野球選手における、肩関節および肘関節の関節可動域とACTN3遺伝子R577X多型との関係(実験2)を検討した。その結果、伸張性収縮運動後の筋スティフネスの変化については、ACTN3遺伝子R577X多型との関連性は示されなかった。また、アスリートにおける肩、肘関節柔軟性についてもACTN3遺伝子R577X多型との関連性はみられなかった。

研究成果の学術的意義や社会的意義

ACTN3遺伝子R577X多型RRが他のグループよりも等尺性筋力が有意に高いことはわかっているが、ACTN3遺伝子R577X多型と関節柔軟性・筋硬度の変化との関連性を明らかにした論文は少なかった。検討の結果、ACTN3遺伝子R577X多型と関節柔軟性・筋硬度とは関連しないことが明らかになった。この結果は、ACTN3遺伝子R577X多型は筋力発揮に関与するものの、関節や筋の硬さには影響しないことを示すデータであった。
