研究概要

本研究は泌尿器科癌において、これまで蓄積してきた研究成果の臨床的応用を実現化するための具体的かつ本格的な検証を目的とした。遺伝子多型解析を含む遺伝子解析(Genome)データ、網羅的発現解析(Transcriptome)データ、さらには蛋白解析(Proteome)データを統合したデータベースを構築し、このOMICSデータを詳細な臨床情報に照らし会わせることで候補となりうる分子マーカー(群)や分子標的をさらに探索した。そして、この情報を細胞培養系やモデル動物を用いた実験系に持ち込み、その機能的意義を明確にした。
