研究概要

様々なガラス形成物質において見られるガラス転移近傍における特徴的な現象を最近研究代表者が提案した平均場理論に基づく統一的観点から解析し,次の二種類の"普遍則"を見出した.
(1)異なる系において,それぞれ任意の原子を選び,それらの自己拡散係数が同じ値を取るときは,それぞれの原子のダイナミクスは全く同じ式(即ち,マスター方程式)によって記述される,原子の種類に依らない.
(2)任意の原子の自己拡散係数は,その原子がどのようなことなる他の原子と結合していても,同じ式(マスター方程式)に従う.
