研究概要

外来種の侵入とその伝播パターンが, 環境の自然的および人為的撹乱によりいかに影響を受けるかを数理モデルを用いて明らかにした。
具体的には, 人為的撹乱により生物の生息環境がモザイク状に分断化されている状況を定式化し, こうした分断化環境に侵入した生物の分布拡大過程を記述する数理モデルを構築した。 さらに, 数理モデルを解析することにより, どのようなモザイク構造が侵入パターンに大きなインパクトを与えるかを明らかにし, 合わせて保全への提言を試みた。
