研究概要

大脳皮質において色情報がどのように表現され変換されているかを明らかにするために、研究に最適な新しい色刺激セットを開発し、視覚野ニューロンの色選択性を定量的に調べた。その結果領域によって色選択性の輝度コントラスト依存性が異なることが明らかになった。また高い密度で色度図上で色選択性をマッピングすることにより、鋭い色選択性を詳細に明らかにすることが可能になることが示された。
