研究概要

新規がん細胞遊走阻害物質UTKO1のEGF刺激によるヒト扁平上皮癌A431細胞の細胞遊走の阻害作用は、UTKO1が14-3-3ζに結合してその機能を阻害した結果、Rac1活性化を抑制することにより引き起こされることを見いだした。つぎに14-3-3ζがUTKO1の標的であることを裏付けること及びA431細胞の遊走における14-3-3ζの役割を明らかにすることを試みた。その結果EGF刺激が誘導するA431細胞の遊走においては、14-3-3ζによるTiam1及びβPixの一方、もしくは両方のGEF活性の調節が重要である可能性が示唆された。
