研究概要

本研究の目的は、遺伝子発現から動物行動の変容までの一連の機構を階層性に沿って解明することであり、そのための手法もあわせて開発することである。そこでヨーロッパモノアラガイの味覚嫌悪学習機構に着目した。まずはこの学習に関与しているニューロン1個内での転写調節因子を、mRNA・タンパク質レベルで定量する方法を開発し、長期記憶時の量的変化を明らかにした。さらには、ニューロン1個内の変化から個体行動変容を理解するためのボトムアップ研究を行った。
