研究概要

異文化主義(interculturalism)および異文化パフォーマンスに関する問題点を重点的に検討し、異文化パフォーマンスの実地調査、国内外の関連学会への参加と研究者との意見交換、インターネットを含めた情報収集、映像資料分析、文献調査、国内外で発表された論文および口頭発表をとおして、相互理解促進に資する上演のヒントを見出すと同時に、今後のシェイクスピア演劇の異文化パフォーマンスのあり方に有意義な提言を行なうことができた。
