研究概要

本研究では,古第三紀～第四紀に形成された沿岸域の堆積物(例えば,ひわだ峠層,芦屋層群陣ノ原層,都井岬オリストストローム,備北層群,三崎層群,久万層群,田辺層群,下総層群,など)において,シーケンス層序,堆積システム復元にくわえ,化石群や生痕化石群の観察をおこない,種々の新知見を得た.また,成果の一部は,9編の査読付き原著論文のほか,8件の国際学会講演(うち一件は基調講演として招待)を含む,30件超の学会講演として公表された.
