研究概要

ザクロ石-輝石のFe/Mg比は地球内部温度構造を推定するために利用される.ただし,輝石中の鉄酸化状態の不確定さがあるために大きな誤差を含む.酸素は輝石の唯一のアンイオンであり,鉄は唯一の複数の三価状態に存在する主要カチオンなので,電荷均衡を仮定し,酸素とカチオンの分析から鉄の三価状態を算出できる.EPMAによる精度の良い酸素定量分析を実現するために分光結晶,試料表面,バックグラウンド測定位置,最適な補正計算を改良した.その結果,1%程度の誤差で分析に成功た.
