髄芽腫におけるSOX4遺伝子の発現意義と治療への応用

研究概要

脳腫瘍の手術標本を使って遺伝子解析した結果、Sox4遺伝子が髄芽腫において、他の脳腫瘍に比較して著明に発現が亢進していることを確認した。また脳腫瘍の培養細胞においても、髄芽腫細胞において、Sox4遺伝子が高発現していることを確認した。さらに悪性グリオーマの培養細胞にSox4遺伝子を導入することで、細胞増職能が増加することを確認した。逆に、髄芽腫培養細胞にSox4遺伝子を導入しても、その細胞増殖能に変化はなかった。
