研究概要

内部磁気圏内の多数の人工衛星によって取得される荷電粒子直接観測データをリングカレントシミュレーションモデルに同化する手法を開発し,衛星配置の条件がよければ,リングカレントイオンや電場の空間分布が推定できることを模擬データによる実験によって確認した.一方,プラズマ圏を撮像したIMAGE衛星による極端紫外線画像データをプラズマ圏モデルに同化する手法も開発し,これについても,有用性を確認した.
