The final theme of my dissertation is entitled "Analysis of Technological Learning and the Learning Curve of Financial Intuitions in Nigeria". This dissertation systematically addressed three key problems and provided appropriate policy recommendation. Among other things, the followings are the major outcomes of the dissertation. 1. A framework for measuring the learning curve of financial institution was developed and tested using data from Japanese and Nigeria banking system. The result of this exercise is scheduled for publication in the journal of "Financial Innovation" (SpringerOne) with the theme: The impact of learning by credit and value creation on the efficiency of Japanese commercial banks. 2. The dissertation also studied technological learning in the Nigeria financial systems by characterizing the diffusion of four major electronic payment systems using innovation/ technology diffusion models. The result is also scheduled to be published in "Technology Analysis and Strategic Management" Routledge, Tailor & Francis, under the theme: Analyzing and Forecasting the diffusion of electronic payment systems in Nigeria. 3. Finally, the dissertation analyzed the socio-economic impact of electronic banking on a large sample of users from different strata of the Nigeria population (drawn through field survey). The result of this exercise has been published in "International Journal of Social Economics", Emerald Insight, with the them: On the determinants, gains and challenges of electronic banking in Nigeria.
