研究概要

深刻な肝移植ドナー不足の解消を目指して、キメラ技術を用いた肝臓グラフトの検討を行った。マウス体内でラット由来肝実質とマウス由来肝非実質組織で構成されたキメラ肝臓をラット・レシピエントに移植し、免疫抑制剤を用いながらその生着や機能を評価したところ、適切な免疫抑制剤使用により有意にグラフト生存が延長し、組織学的にも肝組織が維持された。また、4ヶ月にわたりアルブミン産生能が保たれ、グラフトとしての可能性が示された。
